I fell in love with Tampa when I went there the first time nearly four years ago. I didn’t know I wanted to live there until my third visit in as many years. I did not want to go home after my one week vacation was up, and it was harder than usual to make myself do it. I started to look at job opportunities in the area, and I also checked to see how much it would cost for an apartment for rent in Brandon FL, since that is where I stayed when I would come down.

I was living in New York City at the time, so I figured it would not be higher than what I was already paying. I still wanted to see the prices though as well as the different apartment complexes there. I already knew that I would be able to afford more than a studio apartment, which is all I had in New York City. I didn’t like living in such a small space, but it was all I could afford. I had a great paying job, but I rarely had any money left over at the end of the month because it is just so expensive to live there.

That is why I was really excited when I saw that I would be able to get a one bedroom luxury apartment for less than what I was paying, and that includes all of my utilities getting paid too. I was able to get a job in the same field, and I knew it would not take me long to work my way back up to where I was in the Big Apple. Since moving here last year, I have found that I am happier, and I just feel so much better overall. Living in Florida can do that to a person!
