Being the Best Mom That I Can Be Has Been Tough

Nobody ever told me just how tough it is to raise kids before I had them. Over time, I have found myself not eating well or working out because I simply have not had the time to do it anymore. Going to a www.spectrumhealthcenter.com”>chiropractor in San Jose has become very important so that I can keep up with my daughter’s needs better. The chiropractor told that me that I will need to start taking some time out for myself so that I can continue to take good care of my child. He told me that back problems sneak up on parents all of the time, and the problem gets worse if you don’t stay on top of it.

For the first few years of my daughter’s life, I felt like I was fatigued all of the time. I tried to sneak in naps as much as possible, but I never felt like I caught up on my sleep. I would look in the mirror and noticed that I was growing more haggard looking every day. I noticed myself eating more pre-made junk food than I had ever eaten in my life because I had no time to spend a lot of time in the kitchen cooking. I used to work out all throughout the week before I had my daughter, but that stopped soon after she was born. I felt like I was falling apart by the time that she was 3 years old.

I have wanted to make sure that my daughter gets to participate in a lot of extracurricular events outside of school. I did not have a chance to do that when I was a child, and I want to make sure she has all of the things that I didn’t have. Each day, I have to make sure that I keep up with taking care of my home, my husband, and our daughter. I plan to do this until she graduated from high school. After that, she will be going to college and will be on her own. Things are a little easier now that she’s no longer a toddler.
